Gregory Peck (1916 - 2003) was an American film and stage actor, considered one of the biggest stars of all time.

Peck's career spanned more than 50 years, with more than 80 films. He is famous for his heroic and righteous roles, with his elegant demeanor and warm, attractive voice.

Some of Peck's notable roles include: Atticus Finch in "To Kill a Mockingbird" (1962), the role that earned him the Academy Award for Best Actor; Captain Ahab in "Moby Dick" (1956); Roman Holiday" (1953) opposite Audrey Hepburn; and Lewt Lucas in "The Big Country" (1958).

In addition to acting, Peck also participates in producing several films and is the Chairman of the American Motion Picture and Television Foundation. He was also active in social activities and was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the Kennedy Medal of Honor.

Gregory Peck is considered an American cultural icon and an inspiration to many generations of actors. He was honored by the American Film Institute as one of the greatest movie stars of all time.
