The Syracuse Orange opened up ACC play with a home upset win over #13 Fighting Irish, 86-61. Syracuse scored 30 points off of 24 Notre Dame turnovers. Dyaisha Fair was relentless for 'Cuse, scoring 27 points, including 14 in the final quarter. Fair also had six steals, four rebounds, and three assists. Alyssa Latham had a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds. For Notre Dame, Hannah Hidalgo had a game-high 32 points to go with seven steals, six assists, and five rebounds.
