It is one of the most beautiful hikes in the Sesto Dolomites, the itinerary connects the Rifugio Emilio Comici with the Rifugi Pian di Cengia and Antonio Locatelli.
Highly scenic itinerary, technically easy, but medium-difficult for the length of the journey.
In the ascent to the Rifugio Comici you have a splendid view of the Cima Undici and Dodici, in the descent from the Forcella Pian di Cengia (2,522 m) you can admire Punta dei Tre Scarperi and the two alpine lakes. Arriving at the Rifugio A. Locatelli at the Tre Cime (2,438 m) the eyes are immediately captured by the Tre Cime di Lavaredo.
If you are in the Sesto area, this is definitely an excursion not to be missed!

ITINERARY
From the car park at 1,460 m, continue on level ground to the nearby Rifugio Fondovalle (1,548 m) and then continue uphill on path no. 102/103 up to a crossroads; here you follow path n. 103 through the valley floor of the Alta Val Fiscalina to the Rifugio Zsigmondy Comici at an altitude of 2,235 m.
You go up, path n. 101, up to the Oberbachernjoch and then right up to the Rifugio Pian di Cengia (2,528 m).
Continuing the path you arrive at the Forcella Pian di Cengia (2,522 m) and then descend to the Rifugio A. Locatelli alle Tre Cime (2,438 m).
From the refuge, return to the starting point by taking path no. 102
