Last night, or July 16, 2021, Tesla finally made the Tesla Full Self Driving Capability Subscription became available instead of a $10000 option. The subscription is $199 plus applicable tax and we opted to get it to give it a try. My wife is loving it so far and I have yet to try it myself.
The Tesla Full Self Driving Capability or FSD is part of what I believe to be the full Tesla experience. 4000 miles later and we still love our Tesla Model Y Performance and the FSD will make this experience even a better one. Is Tesla Full Self Driving Subscription worth the money? I think so, Is the Tesla Full Self Driving option worth it at $10000? Maybe not so much, unless of course you are planning to keep your Tesla for a long time, over 50 months.
