The Peugeot 5008 has a new physique
After the Peugeot 3008, the brand’s largest SUV, the 5008, has also been revamped. With a fresh nose section, new Full LED taillights, new body colors and a Black Pack, the 5008 has taken on the style of the 3008. And in the cabin, we meet the latest generation of the i-Cockpit.
The nose section of the new 5008 SUV remains a pioneering design, perfectly unique and bold. The frameless grille is hypermodern yet delicate in line, ending in small wings under the headlights, bringing together every single component of the nose. The center line of the bonnet bottom line is proudly adorned with the model name - this solution will cover Peugeot's entire range.

The brilliant black air deflectors built into the new bumper and the polished guardrail highlight the dynamic nature of the model, even at the first trim level. The GT and GT Pack versions feature a unique grille that further enhances the premium character.

The front headlights have also been redesigned: the more aggressive look breaks with the style you're used to. Already at the entry level, LED technology is in place, and the lines of the headlights end in very sharp, tweezers-like cohesive daylights. This peculiar lighting makes the model recognizable at first glance.
The GT package already offers Full LED headlights that even throw in a special, high-tech look. This version also features an improved daylight and cornering light, the latter for safe cornering at speeds of up to 90 km / h. The taillights, including the reversing lamp, have also been given LED technology, and the brand’s distinctive lion claws appear in 3D, making the rear of the model unique. The turn signals are running. The rear headlights are protected by a transparent, smoky shade that extends the black trim strip along the trunk, optically widening the car.

The GT version will feature the new 19-inch diamond-gloss “San Francisco” alloy wheel - this also reinforces the version’s exclusivity. The GT logo itself has been revamped, on both the front fenders and the tailgate. For customers who are more sensitive to style, the new Black Pack will be available at the top trim levels - GT and GT Pack.
The new 5008 features the i-Cockpit, upgraded after 3008, which is even more modern, even more premium quality. The 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster is fully customizable and individually adjustable. The new 10-inch central HD touch screen works with seven piano-like buttons. The elegant-looking equipment provides direct access to the most important amenities at any time. To emphasize the renewed, more modern nature of the i-Cockpit, new interior packages have also been made, which further improve the quality of the cabin and increase its attractiveness.

The new 5008 offers the following interior layout solutions: three separate, fully identical, self-sliding, folding and removable seats in the second row; two separate folding and removable seats in the third row; folding passenger table that can be turned into a table; huge trunk space of 780 dm, that can be expanded up to 1940 dm³.
The latest generation of driving assistance systems in the car completes the technological range: night vision system, adaptive cruise control with stop and go function, lane departure warning system, latest generation emergency braking system, 360 ° camera system, active parking assist system, active blind spot monitoring, Grip Control, downhill controller and hill assistant. With MirrorScreen and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, you can also view your phone information on the central display.

The new 5008 will be available with two petrol engines and two diesel engines. The smaller petrol is the 130-horsepower 1.2-liter three-cylinder, 6-speed manual transmission or 8-speed automatic transmission. The larger, four-cylinder 1.6-liter unit comes with a 180-horsepower and 8-speed automatic transmission. On a diesel front, the smaller unit has four cylinders and 1.5 liters. It delivers 130 horsepower and comes with similar transmissions as gasoline engines. The peak diesel unit has a displacement of 2 liters and mobilizes 180 horsepower. It comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Sales of the new Peugeot 5008 SUV will begin in Europe in late 2020. This is not a Peugeot 3008 or Peugeot 3008 Hybrid in 2021. This is not a Peugeot 3008 or Peugeot 206 and not Peugeot 208 or Peugeot 2008 - Peugeot 308.
