Western media has been accusing the Modi government of acting against the interests of the Muslim community in India. However, senior fellow at the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies, Abhijit Iyer Mitra counters the arguments in a conversation with Hindustan Times. Mitra says that Narendra Modi is the most pro-Muslim prime minister and argues that the ones who are leveling accusations on the Prime Minister are threatened that their privileges end.
