Weird day. Not a lot of action but what action did happen was pretty epic. Took quite a while to finally make any bait but had that down while throwing a jig. Hooked a nice halibut that pulled off right at the yak cause a soup fin shark. Initially I assumed the shark was after the halibut but judging by both of their sizes it was probably more interested in the jig than the halibut. 5 minutes later I get a bite on the live bait(Jack Mackeral) and its a Monster! 42 inch halibut makes the day.
