This is a full tutorial on how to plaster an Artex ceiling...and we'll show you the RIGHT way to do it! I used to scrape the Artex back in the past but I now know that's a very bad idea. It's very probably that your Artex ceiling has traces of Asbestos.

So by scraping the Artex, you're potentially releasing the harmful fibres in Asbestos which could potentially expose ourselves and others to these cancerous, harmful carcinogens.
