Did we just build the world's largest wooden shark fin for mountain biking? In this video, you’ll get to see the process from start to (almost) finish of the most sprawling, complex, and intimidating mountain bike trail feature I’ve ever seen, let alone helped build-and I do not say that lightly!

If you’ve been following, you know that Howler Bike Park in Walnut Shade, Missouri, has been filled with weeks of challenges and triumphs. You can probably guess that this week’s video is no different. 🏁

Check out Bikes Online here!! 👉 https://bikesonline-usa.sjv.io/qn9BGy

Just how complex and daunting is this feature? Well, it’s about 20 feet in height and 55 feet in length, which is about the standard size of a house.

Welcome to the official YouTube Channel of Backyard Trail Builds - Detailed videos on Trail Building 🛠

Hi, my name is Seth Gebel and I grew up in Catawissa, Missouri just outside of St. Louis. I'm very fortunate to have a playground of woods to build whatever I see fit in because Missouri riders don’t get much feature time. I’d love to change that! Hopefully, someday we’ll be able to push a build-along that benefits the public here in St Louis for MTB skills progression. For now, though, I build every weekend and film for you all to watch!
➡️ On this channel, you'll find trail-building videos with music and step-by-step shots that keep you entertained and informed! Builds like road gaps, berms, jumps, drops, trail flow, skinnies, and many others!
Combining my love of mountain bikes, woodworking, and creating something from nothing, stick around to see just where my wild mind takes me next!
What started out as a passion project for building fun and exciting trails in my literal backyard, has grown into so much more. (Giant lizard bike jump, anyone?) Be sure to watch for builds, tips, and special offers each week.

If you love adventures and seeing wild and lofty ideas, come to life, subscribe to my channel for new videos every Sunday at 11 am Central! Hit that bell to never miss a video! 🔔
