On June 12, 1997, Katharine Graham, retired publisher of The Washington Post, was interviewed by former Newseum president Peter Prichard for the 25th anniversary of the Watergate scandal.

Graham, who died in 2001, talked about how the scandal started with a break-in at the National Democratic Committee headquarters at the Watergate hotel and office complex.
