This was a few weeks back during Thanksgiving! Join me on a trip with Alex to Taiwan--we start off with some classic Taiwanese breakfast that includes some turnip cakes and a rolled sesame pancake with egg. We then headed to the jade market where Alex helped me talk to merchants to find a jade necklace. Later that day, we unexpectedly got served vodka shots from a camera shop owner. He was incredibly nice and was interested in hearing where we were from.

The next day, we explored Wulai with a few friends. It was a cute and quiet city with a view of a waterfall. It also had a mini train that took us there. I end off this weekend with a few popular Taiwanese snacks like a gua boa. Hope you enjoy!
