My Latest DIY Evap Air Cooler "Jumbo Sized!". this video shows how i upscaled the original model to make the most advanced unit yet (w/5 changes). all changes are detailed out in video. 1.) widened evap. pad and frame. 2.) swapped out the shower curtain rings for wire 3.) increased water flow (to match larger pad) 4.) increased the size of the water reservoir (the plastic tub) from 7 to 10 gallons 5.) added a "crossbar" in the center of the frame. unit is working great. the unit is pulling in 90F-100F air and is outputting air in the 70's! *keeping the house very comfortable. this will be the final unit. if you like the vid. please rate, sub and share. the link to the full build "original" video and how to make the simple plastic shroud are listed below...

OF INTEREST... UPDATE: (05/01/2021) i just posted a video on how to make an "INDIRECT" evap air cooler! indirect units have TWO air streams. one is humid air and one is dry air. only the Dry Air Stream enters your house (so it feels similar to real AC!). if interested, here the link
