Questioner: Shaikh, I have question:
Few people hurry in tabdee' and they say that you are as well from Qutubiyyah and Ahl-al Bid'ah...

Answer:
Okay, what I understood is that there are few students of knowledge who declare a number of da'ees and scholars to be
from Ahl-al Bid'ah, including me and others.

Okay, you know about the website islamQA.info, isn't it?
IslamQA.info uses a methodology. For example, I quote the four
madhaahib, Ibn Baz, Ibn al Uthaimeen, Saleh al Fawzaan. And the senior scholars, and the permanent committee for Fataawa... and I always show the proofs from Qur'an and Sunnah. And I always use authentic ahadith, and I follow the salaf in aqeedah in Allah's names and attributes, Iman, Qadaa' and Qadr, and Sahaba.. and I pay attention to the issue of Tawheed and combating shirk.. and to sunnah and combating Bid'ah So what else is left them? I mean to say: What else is with them of truth that I do not have?
When this is my understanding of Tawheed ar Ruboobiyyah, Tawheed Asmaa' wa Sifaat, and Tawheed al Uloohiyyah. And the issue of Shirk and Tawheed, and Sunnah and Bid'ah.
And I take knowledge from Qur'an and authentic Sunnah, and combat weak and fabricated ahadith. And I quote the senior scholars, and shaikh Ibn Baz and Ibn al Uthaimeen, and Majma' fiqh al Islami, Ibn Taymiyyah and Ibn al Qayyim.. so what more is with them that I do not have?!

Dear brother, Ibn Baz would direct people to me. For instance, if
a man were from where I live, in the Eastern Province in Saudi, so he would say: 'Go to Shaikh al Munajjid.' And the same thing with Ibn al Uthaimeen. If someone would meet him, he would ask them: 'From where are you?' If they were from the Eastern Province, be it Khobar or Dammam, he would direct them towards me. And the same thing with Shaikh Salih al Fawzaan, and I have been certificated by him.. and Shaikh Ibn Jibreen as well.

Questioner: And shaikh, I have another question as well. That they have this sort of a principle, that if one of the scholars or anyone else were to err in one issue, then he becomes from Ahl-al Bidah.
So how do we respond to them?

Answer:
Dear brother, I swear by Allah that this is oppression. And the
scholars, be it Ibn al Qayyim, Ibn Taymiyyah, Ibn Rajab and Dhahabi would reiterate that if we were to leave a man only due to his mistake in one or two issues, ...then none would be left. Subhanallah, this is oppression and hostility. But what can you do anyways? I mean, don't they themselves err? Are they angels that they don't err?

May Allah reward you with good. May Allah make
us and you firm upon truth.

And a major issue that concerns me is that some of them have limited 'salafiyyah' to aqeedah only. Are we not to follow the salaf
in their manners?

And sarcastically asking, have you ever seen them removing people out of salafiyyah just because someone did not behave well?

No disaster strikes upon the earth or among yourselves
except that it is in a register before We bring it into being -
indeed that is easy for Allah. (57:22)

And we believe, in the footsteps of our salaf, and due to our creed being Tawheed, that nothing harms nor benefits except Allah.

And if Allah touches you with harm, none can remove it but He, and if He touches you with good, then He is Able to do all things.

We are certain that if the nation were to gather together to benefit you with anything, they would not benefit you except with what Allah had already prescribed for you. And if they were to gather together to harm you with anything, they would not harm you except with what Allah had already prescribed against you.
