2001 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.3 with a #5 injector control wire shorted to ground.
This is a common issue on the Caravan and Town and Country models. The wire harness right above the exhaust crossover pipe will melt together and cause multiple problems. MAP sensor codes, injector codes, TPS and IAT codes etc. This problem can also damage the computer ground circuit as well as any other sensors on the 5v reference circuit. (Injector control voltage will spike into the sensor ground circuit of the computer).

Symptoms:
- P0205 trouble code (Injector 5 control circuit fires improperly)
- hard staring (long crank time)
- start/stall
- excessive fuel consumption
- poor gas mileage
- white smoke from tailpipe
- fuel odor
- low power
- misfire

Fix:
- repair melted computer harness connector near exhaust manifold crossover pipe (common problem)
