Everyone has seen their driver at one point or another tag the wall in a race, but not many realize the amount of changes it has seen throughout the years. The sport has been running for 75 years so there is not too much surprise that some things have changed, but many agree that the best changes have been the race walls. Why you may ask, well it's mostly due to the fact that changing them have resulted in many lives being saved throughout the years. But how did NASCAR know what changes to make to the walls? Well in my eyes, we can thank the safety of the walls we see today from these 3 events that happened in a NASCAR Sanctioned event.
