Dr Rosie Knapp talks about the ‘Beneficials Chemical Toxicity Table’ - a guide that assists growers and advisers to protect the beneficial insects that help naturally control grain crop pests. The table has been developed to help growers make more informed choices about the insecticides and miticides they use, as protecting beneficial insect species is an important element of Integrated Pest Management (IPM). The table is the result of a collaboration between Cesar Australia and the University of Melbourne with investment from GRDC as part of the Australian Grains Pest Innovation Program.
