Puristic, expressive, timeless: expressive strengths that literally permeate the Taycan - additionally emphasized by the dynamic, flat flyline. It doesn't hold back when it comes to free space either, offering exclusive comfort for 4 people in addition to rear and front luggage compartments.

Mechanical buttons have been almost completely replaced by digital ones. This makes the interior look very tidy. The same principle of tidiness also applies to the displays. There are up to 4 of them - intuitive, distraction-free and direct in handling.

The arrangement is also driver-oriented, as is typical of Porsche : the focus of his attention is the instrument cluster, consisting of a 16.8-inch curved display and external control panels with Direct Touch Control for adjusting the light and chassis functions.

From here you have access to navigation, media, telephone, settings and Apple CarPlay via a menu bar that can be deactivated. The rear trunk and loading doors (if equipped) can also be opened and closed from there and the load view with battery charge status can be displayed.

The Taycan 's battery draws its great potential from pouch cells, cell-chemically optimized for maximum performance and a long range at the same time: In the large version (Performance Battery Plus), 33 modules with a total of 396 cells are available. The more compact performance battery, which is used as standard equipment in the Taycan , Taycan 4S, Taycan Sport Turismo and Taycan 4S Sport Turismo , draws its energy from 28 modules with a total of 336 cells. The Turbo models, Turbo S models, GTS models and all Taycan Cross TurismoModels have the Performance Battery Plus as standard.

A newly developed, automatically shifting 2-speed gearbox on the rear axle ensures noticeably more dynamics. Initial acceleration benefits from the very short ratio of first gear, while the high ratio of second gear provides acceleration reserves for high-speed driving.

For recuperation in all Taycan models, we have developed the Porsche Recuperation Management (PRM) , which works innovatively and can recuperate up to 90% of braking energy. During active braking, for example, recuperation is activated first, and the mechanical brake only kicks in when more braking power is required – intelligently controlled by the blending-capable braking system.In this way you significantly improve the endurance of your vehicle and part of the kinetic energy is converted into more kilometers of driving pleasure: With a very high recuperation capacity of up to 275 kW, energy can be fed back into the battery. Or to be more precise: In everyday life you can reach e.g. B. with a sporty driving style up to a third of your range exclusively through recuperation.
