BS ’67, Life Member – Ed Hyman is the chairman of Evercore ISI and vice chairman of Evercore. He is also the head of Evercore ISI’s Economic Research Team. For 42 years, Hyman has been ranked No. 1 by the Institutional Investor poll of investors for economics. Before joining Evercore ISI, he was the chairman and founder of ISI Group, LLC. and ISI Inc. Prior to forming both companies in 1991, Hyman was the vice chairman and a member of the Board of C.J. Lawrence Inc., which he joined in 1972. He was an economic consultant at Data Resources, Inc. from 1969 to 1971. Hyman is currently a board member of the China Institute, serves on the Finance Committee of Bowdoin College, and is a member of the Economic Club of New York. He received his BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas and his MBA from MIT.
