At the 2023 Werks Reunion Amelia Island, there was an Iris Blue 993 GT (aka, GT2) parked prominently on the show field. We soon met the owner, PCA member Nish Pillai, who explained how this 911 Turbo, originally bought in the Japanese market, was transformed to look and perform like the GT2 in period, using mostly factory parts. From the bodywork to the engine, gearbox, and suspension, no area has been left untouched. Since taking ownership in 2023, he's continued to perfect the impressive build.
