Family living in Southern California are on the hunt for a house outside Seattle. The couple hopes to find a home with enough room for their family of five. But while she wants a traditional house that's easy to maintain and ideal for hosting her first Christmas, Bryan wants something with more character on a sprawling lot.

House Hunters takes viewers behind the scenes as individuals, couples, and families learn what to look for and decide whether or not a home is meant for them. Focusing on the emotional experience of finding and purchasing a new home, each episode shows the process as buyers search for a home.
