Tender jowar(seethni jola) is a fresh grain from the jowar plant, which is used to make this seethni guggari recipe from North Karnataka. Here, I haven't used fresh grain; I received dried and roasted fresh grain from my mother-in-law, which she sent to me.

Tender jowar(Ponk), also known as sorghum, is a nutritious whole grain packed with vitamins, minerals, and fiber. In this recipe, tender jowar is transformed into a flavorful and hearty dish that's perfect for any meal.

To prepare this tender jowar recipe, start by soaking the roasted tender jowar grains to soften them. Then, cook them until they're tender and have a pleasant chewy texture. You can add vegetables, herbs, or protein sources like beans, tofu. Next, season the cooked jowar with your favorite spices and ingredients to enhance its taste.

Whether you serve it as a side dish, main course, or salad ingredient, this tender jowar recipe is sure to impress with its unique flavor and nutritional benefits. Enjoy the wholesome goodness of tender jowar in every bite!
