Fixing a double malfunction of the rear light cluster with both brake light failure warning and indicator light failure warning in the rear cluster of my F32 BMW 4 series.

Common issue on the F3x BMWs caused by the pins on the bulb holder degrading and then disintegrating in the female connectors of the plug.

If you’re lucky, you can just replace the bulb holder and the pin in the plug, in my case I had to replace the whole plug as the burnt out pin prevented it being removed from the original plug.
