Today we tear down a VW W8 engine. The W8 engine is 2 VR4 engines in a V. Similar to the W12, Turbo W12 and W16 engines. While we dont get a W8 straight piped, we do completely take the W8 apart and check out the heads, timing chains, block and pistons. The W8 Passat was the highest level Passat you could buy.
