New version with improved audio:
   • Gazelle helicopter (SA341HT2) test fl...

Qualitative evaluation of the Gazelle SA341HT2 helicopter in the scout / light attack role. Full test flight with captions describing test techniques used and discussing the results.

The SA341HT2 variant of the legendary Gazelle helicopter was used by the Royal Navy for helicopter flight training. A Flight Test Engineer buddy and I teamed up to flight test and characterise the aircraft, and assess its performance in the original scout / attack role for which it was designed. If you've always watched the Gazelle from the outside and wondered how it was like to fly, I hope this video proves illuminating. If you're someone who flew the Gazelle, I hope this video brings back fond memories of the great times you'll undoubtedly have had together.
