I came to Sagamihara early in the morning and had time to walk around Sagamihara-Asamizo Park. Entrance is free even to the local mini zoo. For an additional fee you can feed animals and even ride a pony. I didn't find that many blooming sakura trees but the were few pretty sakuras in full bloom. There was also a kitchenware market. Then I visited green house with a mini jungle with tropical flowers and a waterfall.
