The 27th Annual Festival of Faiths, "Sacred Hearts, Sacred Minds: Embodying Love," opened with a multifaith, multicultural celebration in Louisville's historic Cathedral of the Assumption. The program featured local youth teaching traditional greetings from diverse faith traditions, music from the Anahata Bhakti collective, and remarks from Louisville Archbishop the Most Reverend Shelton J. Fabre. The program also featured a performance by Louisville’s own Jim James, of My Morning Jacket, who played several soulful tunes reflective of the 2023 Festival of Faith theme.
