Last year, we here at Hemmings introduced you to our new YouTube series, REHAB. The idea was simple – take a stock older vehicle and breathe some new life into it so that when complete, it’s in better shape than when it arrived. Our first subject was a 1987 Chevrolet IROC Camaro – it was a good car, but with a spun bearing and some soggy suspension, it needed work. The result when we completed it was an IROC that was improved in every way.

However, this is season II, and with that comes a new car - and by new we mean a 32-year-old Ford Mustang GT complete with a 5.0L V8 under the hood and a lot of room for improvement. But where our IROC was set up for corners, our Fox body will be prepped to run down the 1,320, but in a style that’ll make you think it’s the late 1980s all over again!
