EZ DRAIN VS. TRADITIONAL FRENCH DRAIN
The EZ Drain™ System is an alternative underground drainage solution that captures and percolates runoff into the ground or directs water downstream. Unlike traditional French drain pipe and gravel systems which require heavy lifting and filling the trench with large amounts of gravel, the EZ Drain Gravel-Free French Drain System can be installed in half the time and save up to half of the labor costs since it’s made with lightweight patented Poly-Rock™ material. The uniquely engineered EZ Drain design features increased void space and has a 30% better flow rate than gravel and pipe systems.

EZ DRAIN INSTALLATION STEPS
Have underground utility lines marked so you can avoid them
Use the EZ Drain Calculator to determine volume of runoff in area and length of trench required
Gather required EZ Drain, corrugated coupling connectors, end caps and tools
Dig trench with a minimum 1% slope recommended for positive drainage
Attach EZ Drain with corrugated couplings and end caps; tie off and cut excess EZ drain to size
Place EZ Drain in trench and tamp down lightly with foot
Backfill with soil (may have to amend soil backfill depending on surrounding soil type)

Standing water can cause flooding and costly damage to your foundation and landscape. Using EZ Drain™ Gravel-Free French Drain as a part of a complete drainage system can remove excessive groundwater and send it to a point of release downstream.

NDS drainage products such as the EZ Drain™ Gravel-Free French Drain can protect your home and landscape from becoming an oversaturated hazard. With NDS, you can create a lasting drainage solution that saves you time and money. Start planning your drainage project today!
