How long have I lived here? Almost 2 1/2 years
Why did you chose to live rural? I didnât really chose to live here, it is were the right job was plus my family moved here several years ago and I wanted to live near them!
What do you miss about the city? While I love where I live I think there are pros and cons to each living situation. I miss the variety of foods available in the city, and museums and watching plays! I enjoy them even more now when I do get to go.
If you donât have wifi, where do you work? I have an office space I go to do the majority of my work. It used to be in the attic of a house that is now being rented out, so I have a new office space in town which works even better for me.
How do I make a living? My primary job is as an artist and Etsy business owner. I also create short films here on YouTube. It has been a long road to get here and I am so grateful to be able to do this for a while. I hope to begin teaching again in the future.
Can you introduce your pets: I have a labrador named Aegir and a bunny named Mr. Darcy. I would love to get a kitty someday!
Will you start making more baking videos in the future? Yes! I hope to do a lot more baking in the fall and winter đ§
Why does Darcy have 123 tattooed in his ear? Darcy is a rescue so I donât know his whole story. However, I suspect when he was born into a rabbitry business and that was a way to mark him in a large litter.
Where have you lived? My father is a former Navy Captain and we moved around a lot. I spent a few years in Puerto Rico, 2 years in Cuba, 2 years between Ireland and Italy, and the rest in several different states in the USA.
Do you own your cottage? No, I just rent. I have other houses around me, one that also is rented. My mami is one of my neighbors â¤ď¸ for obvious safety reasons I keep much of where I live private.
Where do you live? NE Washington
Is it more expensive to live in the countryside? While moving can be expensive, I found it more affordable to live here long term since I lived in a very expensive city. However, it completely depends on where you live, it varies greatly. Compared to lest touristic towns, the cost is still much higher than rural areas that do not attract as many tourists. Itâs very relative and I refrain from giving advice since everyoneâs situation is different.
I will answer more questions in a future video!
- I am inspired by storytelling and creating an escape into fairytales. It is my artistâs heart song.
- By watching these videos youâre supporting local and national conservation efforts in my country. Thank you!
