Angel investor Jason Calacanis joined a Clubhouse conversation to discuss the ethics of business with MLM masters JT Foxx, Brad Hager, and Manny Fernandez.

It was originally a fascinating discussion about the platform algorithm until a passionate man named Jeremy claims to be an investor in the app and it quickly turned into a debate.

The conversation gets heated as the men personally attack each other, but moderator David Markovich keeps everyone as under control as possible while they each grandstand.

For context, this isn’t even the purpose of the room David created. The incident occurred from an argument over how the black shield, blocking, and reporting affect the visibility of a room. JT was invited in to dig into the nuts and bolts of his perspective on the ethics of his MLM versus angel investing in Uber and Robinhood (arguably two of the most stigmatized tech businesses around today).

It’s the ultimate battle of style versus substance, and Jason found himself under fire from 3 MLM masters.

Also this conversation spawned multiple rooms with powerful conversations afterwards. While I understand this is a salacious moment of Clubhouse, I feel it’s important to document for Android users to understand the history of the app.
