The construction of the new Fan Centre has commenced, situated in the southeast corner of the stadium. Currently, the preliminary fit-out phase is underway, as showcased in our video update. In addition, noticeable external improvements have been made with the final brick facades now in place on the eastern stand's southern end. The northern section will undergo retro-fitting once the exterior scaffold is removed.

Notably, the distinctive blue glass Kellen blocks, which will adorn the fan plaza, are taking shape. These blocks are designed to create a mesmerizing "shimmering water" effect within the existing dock walls, adding a unique touch to the overall aesthetic. Moreover, the fan plaza has been enriched by the addition of new trees, strategically planted to provide an array of benefits to the fans. As these trees mature, reaching impressive heights between 25m and 35m, they will offer shade during the summer months and protect supporters from coastal winds. Carefully selected by Planit, the lead Landscape Architects, the clusters of trees consist of a variety of resilient species, including pines, alders, and dawn redwoods. These trees have been nurtured at a Cheshire nursery for the past two years, ensuring their suitability for the stadium environment by demonstrating wind resistance and salt tolerance.
