An important talk by Mufti Muhammad ibn Adam al-Kawthari in which he explains the four basic objectives and roles of Allah’s Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him): 1) Teaching how to recite the book of Allah (Qur’an), 2) Explaining the meanings of Allah’s book, 3) Teaching wisdom (hikmah), and 4) Spiritually purifying others.

The talk took place at the event organised by the Islamic Community Centre (ICC) of Melton, a suburb of Melbourne (Australia), on Saturday 12th August, 2023. In attendance was a respectable local scholar, Shaykh Mufti Munib Ahmad (who studied under Mufti Muhammad Shafi’ (may Allah have mercy on him) and also Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani. He also taught at the famous Dar al-Ulum in Karachi (Pakistan).
