While spending time with family in PA, we snuck away for some “just us” time and took a trip down the Susquehanna River on the famed Hiawatha Paddlewheel Riverboat. Considered the Queen of the Susquehanna and running since 1982, it’s a top attraction in the Central PA area. We’ve never had enough time to do this before and I’m glad we didn’t until now. We listened to the history and some fun facts about the area and the boat while floating down the river. The kids are at perfect ages (8 & 5) and actually paid attention to some of what they were telling us. It was a somewhat chilly, drizzly day but it was still a beautiful ride!
