Flight pricing is all about supply and demand. The big questions are when will flyers feel safe to get back in the sky, what will future airline competition look like, and what will the price of oil be?

The good news is in the next year we expect prices to remain low, due to a lack of demand and excess supply. Long-term it's impossible to know as we still have too many unanswered questions.


The longer COVID-19 drags on without a vaccine, the more harm will be done to the global economy, which will likely irreparably damage airlines worldwide and reduce competition, thus increasing fare pricing into the future.
