What's the difference between Shared Hosting, VPS Hosting, and Cloud Hosting? Well, that's exactly what I'll explain in this video!

If you're wondering what type of web hosting you need for your project or what's the difference between a VPS plan, Cloud Hosting, and Shared Web Hosting - I explain all of it in the easiest way possible.

Shared Hosting

The cheapest option available. You get placed on a server with random people and you each have a set amount of resources. You can't change these resources without upgrading plans - that means if you need a boost in power for "rush" hours or the holiday season, that's not possible. The upside is that for most beginner projects, this type of hosting is completely enough.

It's easy to use, cheap, works right out of the box and most providers include everything you need to get started. Like a domain name, SSL certificate and business email.

In my opinion, the best Shared Web Hosting companies are:
1. SiteGround - https://emit.reviews/go/siteground-20...
2. Hostinger - https://emit.reviews/go/hostinger-202...
3. DreamHost - https://emit.reviews/go/dreamhost-202...

The biggest downside of shared hosting is the fact that you share your IP address with all other users. This is bad for email marketing. There's also some issues with website downtime since Shared Hosting isn't the most reliable solution and goes offline the most.

VPS Hosting

Mid-tier option in terms of price and performance offered. Instead of getting a set amount of resources from a server that's shared between multiple people - you get to choose how many resources you need. And you don't share that environment with other people.

The biggest upside of this - you can build larger websites and they'll work faster (can support more people). You can change the number of resources you use without upgrading or downgrading plans. So, you have the flexibility to add additional resources if needed.

The downside of VPS hosting is that if you're choosing Unmanaged VPS it might be hard to get your website set up. Since you do need technical skills.

In my opinion, the best VPS Hosting companies are:
1. ScalaHosting - https://emit.reviews/go/scalahosting-...
2. A2 Hosting- https://emit.reviews/go/a2hosting-202...
3. InterServer - https://emit.reviews/go/interserver-2...

Cloud Hosting

I would consider this to be a mid-tier+ option in terms of price and performance. It's a little bit more expensive than VPS hosting, but it's more reliable.

It works on the exact same principles as VPS hosting, except it's not limited to just 1 server. Cloud Hosting providers pool resources from multiple devices and guarantee stability.

In my opinion, the best VPS Hosting companies are:
1. ScalaHosting - https://emit.reviews/go/scalahosting-...
2. LiquidWeb - https://emit.reviews/go/liquidweb-202...
3. CloudWays- https://emit.reviews/go/cloudways-202...
