It's an issue that's proving potentially as divisive as Brexit... superhero films.

They may have dominated the box office over the last 10 years but award winning directors are now lining up to criticise them.

Martin Scorsese calls them "theme parks", Francis Ford Coppola says they're "despicable" and now Ken Loach has told Sky News they're "boring" and "cynical".
