Adding a USB Ethernet adapter to a smart phone may allow you to use it as an Internet modem to feed the WAN port on your Router.

If you lose your main internet, you may be able to backfeed the router's WAN port by attaching a USB network adapter to the USB-C port on the android phone.

Look for the setting menu for "mobile hotspot and tethering". Under there, you may have an option for "Ethernet Tethering". This will allow your phone to behave in the same way your ISP modem does.

In this video, I added a @dell 1G USB-C Network adapter to my @SamsungUS Galaxy FE20 and was able to connect it to my Router's WAN port.
