One other thing I thought of after filming was even if you have a really good TOU rate, where you can get off peak pricing for 12 hours+, keep in mind that if your car is charging, that means it’s also in-operable. So while you may be able to charge, you have to be ready for the fact that you won’t be able to use the car during that time. That may or may not be a big deal to you, but it’s another thing to consider if you’re going to try and make a 110V outlet work as your main source of charging.
