The feeling of Peer Pressure is a common emotion of any age group generally impacted by social norms. In this talk, I would describe my journey of being under much intangible pressure from family, peers, and society. This phenomenon mostly comes from the desire to integrate, especially in the Asian culture of Collectivism. Besides, social media has a significant impact on expanding this social phenomenon's popularity. However, my perception has changed after an accidental meeting with a woman with a disability. After all, I realized that every success goes along with its costs. As a result, to overcome Peer Pressure, we need to enhance our values continuously, and self-learning is one of the best ways to achieve it. In the video, I also point out 4 ways of self-learning based on my experiences. After all, turning peer pressure into motivation to reach your goals or making them become chains to hold you back is all your choice. Doing arts and creative works is my true passion. Therefore, I make much effort to dig deeper into many aspects of these types of works by taking part in a large number of contests not only to develop my working skills but also seek for potential job opportunities. While studying at university, I became the winner of FPT Edu Research Festival 2021 and Top 6 FPT Nihongo Eng with my teammates. Besides, I am currently a university student of Greenwich Vietnam studying the major of Multimedia Communication, which is closely related to my passion. I try to participate in various Clubs in my university not only to broaden my relationships but also to approach diverse types of people. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
