Watch in HD/4k!!! I'm very excited to introduce my Starclassic Birch Walnut kit from @TAMAofficial. I know I've already uploaded a few videos of me using this kit, but I wanted to put together a video talking about my drums, both birch/walnut and my previous birch/bubinga setup. So here it is, and I hope you enjoy!!!

First off, this is literally just a 10 minute video of me talking about my drums. I've never really made anything like this, where I just talk... However, it's something I want to get more into because I'd like to start creating content outside of only drum videos. I get a lot of questions about gear, engineering, mixing, etc, and I'd like to make videos discussing my process and opinions regarding those topics. I also really enjoy talking about music, drumming, producing, and engineering. So please feel free to leave some feedback below in the comments as to anything you'd like me to discuss in the future.

I'm not sure how frequently I'll be able to create these kinds of videos, but again, it's absolutely something I'd like to start incorporating. Apologies in advance for all of the jump-cuts in this video. This is my first video doing this, and I'll hopefully improve at talking... haha!

My new kit from Tama is a birch/walnut combination in arctic blue oyster lacquer, and it's absolutely gorgeous. One of the first things I noticed when I started using Tama drums is the level of consistency with their Starclassic line. Its a given that the drums sound great, but you can always maintain a high standard of what to expect because the drums always deliver a large level of consistency. I tried to explain more of this in the video, and I hope you find it useful and insightful. I'm still learning these walnut/birch drums, but I'm really excited with how they sound for the few projects I've used them on so far. The full specs of everything featured in this video are below.

I recently started a Patreon that will have a lot of things available. I'll be offering the following:

- Raw/unprocessed drum multi-tracks from Youtube videos and session work
- Drum Transcriptions for solo material, Youtube videos, and session work
