Tonight we have some relaxing reading for sleep at bedtime. As requested, the final chapters of Maida's Little Shop (Chapters 11 - 14). I wasn't going to upload this video since I have already uploaded the entire Maida's Little Shop audiobook here on YouTube a couple weeks ago (link to audiobook is down below). However, this was requested by a few of my viewers who prefer to listen to shorter lengths of the story versus the entire audiobook. This relaxing story by Inez Haynes Irwin is about a sweet little girl named Maida who is sickly and lame. Her father is well known to be one of the wealthiest men in America. He decides to buy her a little shop in Charlestown Massachusetts, to give her a purpose and to help restore her health. However, he has one condition, that she not tell anyone who she is or who her father is. And for the first time in her life...Maida makes wonderful new friends because they think she is just an ordinary girl.
