In this episode we read a story from "Tall Men with Long Rifles," by Creed Taylor, edited by James T. Deshields. This story provides many accounts of the Battle of the Alamo, from Mexican witnesses who were either soldiers or citizens of San Antonio during the battle, on March 6, 1836. The accounts of the few non-combatant survivors on the Texas side, such as Susan Dickinson, and her daughter Angelina, the Babe of the Alamo, are also given in this video.
