Nearly 1500 years ago today, was the day (9th Dhul Hijjah) on Mount Arafat where our beloved Prophet (ﷺ) gave his final sermon, which signified the completion of the message (Islam) that he was given by Allah to convey to the whole of mankind for all of times.
It was a sermon that brought together the message of the purpose of life in terms of worshipping Allah (SWT) alone, giving the due rights to every relationship, serve with justice and spread peace.

Thus our beloved Prophet (ﷺ) completed his final sermon, and upon it, near the summit of Arafat, the revelation came down:
"This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My Grace upon you, and have chosen Islam for you as your religion" (Qur'an (5) : 3)


Oh how much we need these words to be reminded to us over and over again...
May Allah's mercy, peace and blessings be upon our the Prophet(ﷺ) for indeed the biggest blessing for us is to be of his Ummah, the best of all Ummah.

May Allah allow us to drink from our Prophet's(ﷺ) blessed hands at the fountain of al-Kawthar and make us his companions in the highest gardens of Jannah. Ameen
