We are hitching up to the camper for the last time this summer season, heading down to Charlotte NC to camp at the Carowinds Camp Wilderness right at the Carowinds amusement park.
It was a great experience, though we did get into a little bit of trouble for getting to
o close to the splash bucket. (We didn't know it was off limits.) We still recommend the Camp Wilderness campground whether you go to Carowinds or not because it is a great place to stay and explore all the attractions of Charlotte.

For years we have been going to RV shows and picking out our favorites and dreaming of the day we would be able to have one of our own. Then in the summer of 2017 after a series of major mishaps (Our car being totaled, pay cuts and layoffs and a trip to the ER) we purchased our first camper, a Jayco Qwest for less than 5000. Then we began the process of downsizing. Now we are traveling and exploring the RV Lifestyle. Even though we are not full time travelers like @Less Junk, More Journey, and we haven't been doing this as long as @Long Long Honeymoon, we still have a lot of adventures to share.
