Boris Johnson delivered a statement to MPs on Sue Gray's report at 3.30pm, the House of Commons has confirmed.

The findings of the Second Permanent Secretary to the Cabinet Office are expected to be made public before Mr Johnson addresses the House.

"We can confirm that Sue Gray has provided an update on her investigations to the Prime Minister," a spokesman for the Cabinet Office said.

The report will look different from what was first expected after a request from the Metropolitan Police on Friday that it should only include "minimal reference" to events they are investigating - ruling out any details on the most serious allegations.
