Viking Yachts 92 C Open bridge / Convertible first launched and delivered this vessel in 2016 as "Sweet Tuna" to its first owner. Then was put up for sale by HMY Yachts and sold in 60 days with a last known asking price of $8,750,000 back in 2022. New owners renamed her "Pastime".... As the story goes the hired Captain was transporting the yacht from Palm Beach Florida down to Fort Lauderdale on 11/3/2023 at 13 :00 EST. Winds were coming in from the East at 20mph and wave hight about 8 feet. Everything was fine until just south of Boynton Inlet when the captain started to experience engine issues. For about 2 hours they tried to get power back up and running but were unsuccessful. Attempts were made to deploy the bow Anchor but also unsuccessful. She ended up beached in Delray Beach Florida in the area all the way east from the i95 Exit 51 Linton Blvd. This footage was shot on Day 3 of the rescue attempt by Tow Boat US continues Sunday morning 10/5/2023 07:00 EST. And As of 10/5/2023 at 15:10 EST she was successfully tugged back out to sea successfully. No one was hurt or injured in this incident.
