Children and their families residing in Riverside County are invited to enjoy one of two Winter Wonderland Holiday Gift Giveaways this year. The Riverside County Office of Education offers these events each year as a way for our students to have something to look forward to during the winter season.

This year, RCOE hosted the first Annual Winter Wonderland for the Coachella Valley community at the Palm Springs Convention Center. Foster Youth and Homeless students and families were welcomed to a holiday-themed atmosphere in the desert! There were arts & crafts activities for all and a festive meal to enjoy the day. During the holiday season, there may be some insecurities for some to have gifts for the holidays. Drew Schwartz, CEO of 1-2-3 Wellness gave an insightful presentation to have positive mindsets during the holiday season to uplift our communities.

Our next Winter Wonderland will be on December 9th at Riverside Harvest Christian Church!
