Seal Beach is known for its wide, sandy beaches, surfing spots, its historic wooden pier, and quaint Main Street. It also has a naval base that occupies a large portion of its land area.

The Main Street in the Old Town area of Seal Beach offers a variety of shops, restaurants, cafes, and bars that cater to locals and visitors alike.

Seal Beach Historic Pier It is one of the longest wooden piers in the state, extending 1865 feet into the Pacific Ocean. The pier was built in 1906 and has been rebuilt three times after being damaged by storms and fire.
