It was reportedly meant for a promotional mixtape before his rumored King Mathers album was ready to drop. The track addresses his career in general and the status of the rap game, while also reflecting on his legacy in hip hop.

On October 29, 2019, a snippet of the track appeared online, before the full version leaked on November 1, 2019.
