"Caddyshack" is a movie that people still quote all the time, but was this 1980 slobs-vs.-snobs comedy actually great? Or do we just remember it that way because of nostalgia? That's what Christy wanted to determine when she chose it as the latest movie in our Was It Great or Were You 8? series. Harold Ramis made his directorial debut with the golf comedy, which he co-wrote with Brian Doyle Murray and Douglas Kenney. Starring Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, Rodney Dangerfield, Ted Knight, Michael O'Keefe, Cindy Morgan and a dancing gopher.
